Francie, Todd, and Cristine welcome you to El Proximo!
We live in Halifax, Nova Scotia, we study Argentine tango here and further afield, we dance together, and we are friends. We are a trio committed to sharing as widely as possible our knowledge of and enthusiasm for Argentine tango. We consider ourselves members not only of our vital local tango community but also of a wider community of Argentine tango aficionados that encompasses the world.
This dance is a sensual and improvisational art form that
requires one to be completely in the moment with one's body, one's
partner, and with the unique and alluring music. Argentine tango is
about connection and pleasure, and our mission is to help people
enjoy dancing tango.

CLASS AND MILONGA

Review of classes from Bobby Thompson workshop.
8 to 8:30 pm Michael and Franice will review the milonga I class material (this was one of the advanced beginner classes).
8:30 to 9 pm Todd, with RaeAnn , will review aspects of material covered in the advanced beginner pre-milonga class. Way's out of the cross.
