Argentine Tango Beginner Workshop in the Valley

Francie Early and Todd Thompson, Halifax-based,
well-trained, and enthusiastic aficionados of Argentine tango, are
coming to the Valley this summer to share their knowledge of and joy in
this unique dance. They are
offering a four-session beginner workshop
with “DanceTime at Port Williams” at the Port Williams Community
Centre on Tuesday evenings from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm, beginning July 6th,
with a free introductory class one week before, on Tuesday evening, June
29th (6:30 pm to 7:30 pm; same location).

Cost:
$50 per person, payable in cash or with a cheque on June 29th,
following the free introductory class.

The venue is The Port Williams Community Centre/Fire
Hall/Library on 131 Main Street, Port Williams (Google “Port Williams
Library”). Take Exit 11 to Greenwich/Wolfville off the 101.
Continue on route 358 towards Canning. After the bridge over the
river, the Centre is about 200 meters on the left. Enter by the
rear door and take the stairs up to the auditorium.

Argentine Tango Workshop Moncton July 2010
This is a one day workshop that will be held in Moncton NB on July 17th from 1 to 4 pm.

Autumn Beginner-level Argentine Tango Class at the Mount
Francie and Todd will be offering an 8-week
beginner-level class every Tuesday from September 21 to November 9.
Individuals and partnered participants are invited to register.
The class with take place at the Mount Saint
Vincent University Fitness Centre, Rosaria Student Centre, at a cost of
$80 per person. Mount students and faculty and staff with valid Fitness
Centre membership pay $40.
